Permeable paver patio pairs perfectly with deck

Villa Landscapes designers came up with a beautiful, sustainable design-build solution for this backyard patio in White Bear Lake, MN.

To be as green as possible, the landscape designer employed Willow Creek Permeable Paving Stones Slatestone pavers for the patio in a permeable installation to allow rainwater to natural infiltrate back into the ground between the voids in the pavers.

A graceful and functional curved seat wall and columns created with VERSA-LOK retaining wall units in Chestnut Blend adds the perfect design and seating element around the patio.

The random, natural shape of Slatestone creates a beautiful contrast with the vertical deck coming off the back of the house. tSlatestone in the Bleu color was used for the patio, with a Creme circle inlay for the dining area and matching pavers for contrasting courses.

This space is further enhanced with natural stone steppers and a vibrant colored mulch, plus Comfort Craft outdoor furniture, creating a multi-purpose, low-maintenance outdoor living area. The homeowners are very excited to enjoy their new outdoor living space in their back yard.
