THIS IS HOW WE DO IT
The Process
Design, build, enjoy and everything else in between. We want you to know that we are with you every step of the way, so here is some insight on what working with us looks like, start to finish.

Step 1: Consultation
Typically, we meet at your home to discuss the scope of your project. Our designer will take note of existing site conditions and provide a preliminary budget at this time. The designer will illustrate ideas using photos, sketches or, weather permitting, marking the work area to help visualize the space. Sufficient information is expected to be shared at this point to assist in the decision-making process for all parties. For example, we use an online questionnaire to gather information before an in-person consultation.

Step 2: Schedule
We require a $2,000 down payment and a signed, preliminary contract to initiate work. Then, the designer will provide a custom, detailed design proposal for review. The payment will reserve a spot on our installation queue as well as serve as a deposit toward the project installation.

Step 3: Design & Contract Review
It can take from one to three weeks before the initial design is ready for review, depending on the project scope and other factors. A detailed custom design and contract will be presented either at one of our offices, at the project site/residence or virtually via video call, whichever is preferred. Sometimes major changes are needed, but minor changes can always be made after finalizing the contract. The contract will outline the price, materials, warranty, installation processes and general disclaimer information.

Step 4: Installation
Our designers will update you on any changes to the installation schedule. The schedule is an estimation, and we cannot guarantee specific dates. For example, exact dates may change based on various factors such as weather, change orders, product availability, etc. Materials will be delivered to the pre-determined location a few days prior to the first day of installation. In some instances, products may be delivered earlier, however, clients will be notified in advance. On the first day of installation, the crew, field supervisor and designer will meet on site to review the project in detail and to ensure a smooth transition to the project build. Ideally the client should be available to meet at this time, but it is not required. If you have questions or concerns at any time, please call your designer or our office.

Step 5: Enjoy

Your project is finished and ready to enjoy! We will provide a planting and maintenance packet pertinent to your new outdoor space. Any concerns should be reported immediately during any step to ensure items can be taken care of as soon as possible. Your project has a two-year warranty on hardscape installation, which covers materials and labor. We have a one-time replacement for plantings for one growing season. We will always be here if you have any questions.
